ELECTION '08 - AMERICA..This is D-Day

Today is a historic day for America. Whether Obama or McCain wins, it's historic, because it would the first since John F. Kennedy in 1960 that a member of Congress would become President of the United States of America and this is only one of several firsts for both Senators.

It has been an epic voyage in American politics, 726 days long. It's not about race, it's not gender, veterans, and all the other terms that have been used. Today is not just about Obama or McCain. For me, personally, it's about unity of purpose. The coming together of all of God's people for a common good. I believe within my heart, that November 4, 2008 will be remembered for the rest of our lives.

Today, remember Martin Luther King's speech forty years ago. Check out his speech at http://www.mlkonline.net
