Many across the world have already welcomed a new year. We here in Jamaica will do so shortly. Some will be going to church to ring in the new year, some to watch the fireworks on the waterfront in downtown Kingston, some to street dances, some to New Year's Eve Balls being held at major hotels and other venues across the island, some, like myself, will just stay home and relax. However we choose to do it, let us do so safely. Be responsible, in control of our actions and alert.
Most persons tagged 2008 "2000 and great". I'm listening to hear how they will tag 2009.
For me, 2008 presented it's challenges, but despite the odds stacked against me, the positives outweighed the negatives and I can freely give thanks to God for having safely brought me through. So yes, it was indeed a great 2008, from a personal level. I now look forward to 2009, which I have dubbed will be 'fine with the Divine" in the driver's seat.
