It's a Beautiful Day

It's a beautiful day!

It's great to be alive and basking in the glory of God; of His blessings that He has bestowed on us, this nation, this beautiful Island of Jamaica. I certainly do not take it for granted. In everything, I have learned to give thanks.

It was pleasing to the ear to hear our Olympian ladies expressing their thanks unto God (notwithstanding a mishap on the third leg of the 4x1 race). They gave God thanks, acknowledging that He had already given them more than enough (having acquired individual medals in prior races, and the success of their Jamaican teammates), and that they would not be ungrateful in bemoaning the loss of team medals in the 4x1 finals. This is forever etched in my mind. The Lord has much in store for these ladies and to a greater extent, Jamaica. I believe this!

Today, I am giving thanks in my own little way. It is such a good feeling :-).
